Sketches In-Process I will not lie i forgot to take in process images. Final Artist Statement My piece The Frog Trio meant to meet a small trio of frogs having a meeting within the grass. For this project I wanted to explore clay rather than one of medium we have used previously in the semester. I had come across a couple of images online one day of small sculptures of frogs that someone could potentially put out in their yard. I took that inspiration and created almost a toy story effect as if the viewer had wandered into this setting where the frog were having their meeting and they appear still. I did run into a couple of problems when sculpting these because of how small and fragile they are. One of the legs did fall off of the frogs but I was able to glaze it back on when it was fired for the second time. I do also wish I would have used a different glaze that wasn't a matte glaze because I feel as though it lost some of its ability to look like a fairy tale frog. I th
